Veni, Vidi, Vici

Writer: Paul R.S. HannaPaul R.S. Hanna

The phrase “Veni, Vidi, Vici” is Latin for “I came, I saw, I conquered”, famously attributed to Julius Caesar. I have simply taken this quotation and rendered it back to whom it rightfully belongs: my Lord, King and Savior Jesus Christ.

“Jesus said to them, “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” And they marveled at him.”

‭‭(Mark‬ ‭12‬:‭17‬)

“Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, “The kingdom of God is not coming in ways that can be observed, nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.””

‭‭(Luke‬ ‭17‬:‭20‬-‭21‬)
